After I spent my Saturday changing the brakes, changing the oil, and prepping the car for a day at the track, the weather changed our plans.

The track events I’ve been to have all been run rain or shine, you can learn a lot in the rain and it is easy on consumables.

The track we run is prone to flooding during heavy rain events. Part of the the curse of living in Louisiana.

The last time I had to inspect a property for new construction in Baton Rouge, the entire site was knee-deep swamp. Thankfully (?) it was in the 30s so the gators weren’t moving very fast.

They are working to prevent future construction in the flood plains. It’s going slow.
